Summer is looming, and you’re on the hunt for something to keep you from falling into the vortex of boredom. You’ve heard of Write the World’s Summer Writing Camp program, but you’re not quite sure what it’s all about. What happens in five 90-minute virtual workshops, and what will you walk away with? Lucky for you, past campers have plenty to say on why this summer experience is a perfect pick for some creative fun.

“If there were three perfect words to describe [camp], they would be: encouraging, engaging, and enthusiastic. I really enjoyed meeting so many writers from around the globe, which is one of the unique benefits of this writing class. The prompts were diverse and helped me develop all types of writing skills in different styles.”

-Bailee, 16

“This workshop was one of the most helpful writing courses I’ve ever taken. The environment was positive and the teachers, TA’s and the writers were great to work with. I loved the organized online course that helped keep me moving every day. Many of the online features kept me motivated and active.”

-Serena, 13

“I had an amazing experience with camp!! Both the facilitator and the teacher’s assistants were super helpful, answered my questions about writing, and offered valuable feedback. I feel way more confident in my writing abilities now!”

-Siyana, 13

“The workshop was valuable for authors of all ages and levels. Along with methods, tips, and tricks for writing taught directly to us, there was ample room for discussion, peer review, and mentor feedback — something that is invaluable and often hard to come by.”

-Sonia, 16

“I’d give this camp a 10/10. As someone who loves to write but has always felt anxious when it came to knowing where and how to start or if anyone would ever like my writing, this camp helped me tremendously. I now feel confident when it comes to continuing my novel from here, and I will definitely be staying in the know of what Write The World has to offer next!”

-Jazmin, 17
